  • How to Add a Link Button to the Home Screen of an iPhone

    Step 1

    1. Open the browser “Safari”.
    2. Type the following link: https://cm.ixa2019.org/webapp.
    3. Tap the "Share" button. It's the box with an upward-facing arrow coming out of it at the bottom of the screen. Doing so, will bring up a menu at the bottom of the screen.

    Step 2

    1. Scroll right and tap "Add to Home Screen". You'll do so by swiping left over the grey options near the bottom of the pop-up menu.
    2. Type in a new name for your shortcut if you wish. You can delete the current name by tapping the small, grey "x" in the far-right side of the name field at the top of the screen.
    3. Tap "Add". It's in the top-right corner of the screen. Doing so will place a shortcut to the site or item on your iPhone's Home Screen.

    Step 1

    1. Open the browser “Chrome".
    2. Type the following link: https://cm.ixa2019.org/webapp.
    3. Tap on the Menu button. The looks of the Menu button will depend on your device; usually, it's an app button that looks like three horizontal lines stacked on each other.

    Step 2

    1. Tap "Add to Home Screen." Done! A shortcut to the website will be added to your home screen.
  • How to Use the Congress APP
    1. Email attendees
      Go to the “Dashboard”, click on “Attendees”, search for the person you would like to contact and click on “BIOGRAPHY”, then “CONTACT BY EMAIL”. On this page type a subject line and a message and “SEND MESSAGE”. The person will receive the message in their app inbox and in their email account.
    2. Schedule a meeting with other attendees
      Go to the “Dashboard”, click on “Attendees”, search for the person you would like to contact, click on “BIOGRAPHY”, then “SCHEDULE A MEETING”. Choose a date and time, add a meeting location as well as a message and “SUBMIT REQUEST”.
    3. Take notes during talks
      Go to “Programme”, find the session you would like to take notes for and click on the arrow on the right-hand side, then choose a talk in the session by clicking on the arrow.
      On this page click on “Add Personal Notes” which you find in the right-hand corner. Don’t forget to save!
      You can email your notes to yourself from the “MY NOTES” icon on the dashboard.
    4. Find exhibitor booth location and contact details
      On the Dashboard go to “Exhibitors” to find the booth number and exhibition floor plan.
      When you click on the link next to exhibitor you will find all details the company provided.
    5. Find sponsor contact details
      On the Dashboard go to “Sponsors”. When you click on a sponsor logo you will find all details the company provided.
    6. Read abstracts for Wednesday and Thursday presentations
      Go to “Programme”, click on the arrow next to the title of the session you are interested in. Then click on the arrow of a talk or a poster. If there is an abstract, you will find it there. Please note that not all presentations have an abstract.
    7. Receive communications via the WebApp or block this function
      On the Dashboard go to “App Settings” and then “Privacy”. You can choose yes or no as answer to the question “Receive communications”. Rest assured that we will never display your email address unless you contact someone else first.
    8. Be on the list of attendees or hide your name and affiliation from the attendee list
      On the Dashboard go to “App Settings” and then “Privacy”. You can choose yes or no as answer to the question “Publish in delegate list”. Rest assured that we will never display your email address.
    9. Change your attendee list profile
      On the Dashboard go to “App Settings” and then “Profile” to update your profile. Under “Photo” you can update your profile photo.
    10. Build your agenda to be all prepared for the meeting
      Go to “Programme”, click on the arrow next to the title of the session you would like to visit. Then click on the specific talk / poster. On this page in the right-hand corner click on “add to favorites” to add it to your agenda. Do this with all talks / posters you would like to see. When you then go to “My Agenda” you will see the date, time, title, room and presenter of all the talks / posters you added to your favorites.
    11. Need general info about logistical aspects of the meeting and your stay in Strasbourg
      On your Dashboard go to “General Info” or approach one of our staff at the registration desk.
  • Accessing the Congress Recordings on the WebAPP

    All registered attendees will have the chance to view the Congress Session recordings online on the Congress web app for up to a year after the Congress. TTS and/or IXA Members will also have access in the TTS.org member section. Only presentations for which TTS received pre-authorization from the presenter will be available online for viewing.
