Paul W. Holzer, M.Eng, M.S., M.B.A, is CEO, President, and Co-Founder of XenoTherapeutics Corporation, and Interim-CEO of XenoTherapeutics, Inc.
Paul is an engineer, scientist, decorated combat veteran, and entrepreneur with ten years of business and venture formation experience following military service.
Earlier in his career, Paul proudly served as an Officer and SEAL in the U.S. Navy, with four combat deployments to theatres including Iraq and Afghanistan, ultimately attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR-USNR).
Following, Paul was honored to be selected as a Charles Stark Draper Fellow at MIT, and subsequently trained under Dr. David Sachs and Dr. Curtis Cetrulo at the Massachusetts General Hospital Transplantation Biology Research Center.
During this period, he volunteered to deploy to the Philippines as a paramedic (EMT-P) in the immediate aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan, for which he was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
Mr. Holzer has graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, Experimental and Molecular Medicine from Dartmouth College, and Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics from Southern New Hampshire University.
Paul is honored to serve as the Governor Charlie Baker’s Trustee at Bunker Hill Community College, an Overseer for the USS Constitution Museum, and previously as Board Member and Co-Founder of the Navy SEAL Foundation New England (NSFNE).
